Creamed Beets

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 12 small cooked or canned beets

Instructions

  1. Heat vinegar, butter, salt, pepper and water almost to the boiling point.
  2. Add sour cream and beets. Heat slowly until beets are hot.
  3. Serve immediately.

Yield: 6 servings
