In a medium-size saucepan combine the 1 cup sugar and cornstarch.

Remove from heat. Stir in sour orange juice and margarine

In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites at high speed until they are foamy.
Gradually beat in the 1/3 cup sugar and continue beating until stiff
peaks form. Spread over hot filling.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until
meringue is golden brown.
